Indie Gen was conceived on the idea of collaboration. Through partnerships with Mexican artisans from Yucatan, Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Puebla, among others, Indie Gen creates one-of-a-kind garments as collectable art pieces, personally and carefully crafted and packaged as a wearable token of Mexican art and culture. Indie Gen merges innovative design with rich history and technique, positioning Mexican textile culture within the global fashion and art landscape while giving indigenous communities a means for economic, intellectual, and personal growth.
