Indo-Caribbean

Our objective is to enhance our own, and the public’s understanding, of the Indo-Caribbean social, cultural and political experience. Our aim is to critically examine and assess the role of Indo-Caribbean people to make them more responsible and tolerant global citizens. We wish to contribute to the growing sense of pride and awareness in being of Indian descent, and to facilitate meaningful relationships and constructive networking with other racial and ethnic groups in the society. Our vision is for this forum to serve as a vehicle for self-expression and positive leadership in the Indian Diaspora. We envision a future that will recognize, respect and incorporate positive elements of Indian culture, and Indo-Caribbean people, equitably. Our vision is to for individuals, groups, organizations and institutions to honour ethnic diversity, equity and harmony.
