Indo-German Cooperation on Skill Development

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, on behalf of German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), works closely with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, to scale up and improve the quality of cooperative vocational education and training across the country. To this end, GIZ provides capacity building support to in-company trainers, vocational school instructors and principals, and empowers private sector organisations to actively co-design and co-implement skill development programmes in their respective sectors and regions.
