Indus Security Services (PVT) Limited was founded in April 2003 by Lt. Col Muhammad Khalid Khan. It was granted NOC, to operate as a Private Security Agency, by Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad, vide H.O. NO 4/69/8001 – Security -3 dated 9th August 2002, and registered by Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in September 2002, vide Certificate of Incorporation Number K-009016 of 2002-2003 dated 17th September 2002 (New CUIN Registration Number being 0044400). Thereafter, the provincial governments issued licenses to operate as private security agencies, in respective provinces, as under: a. Home Department, Government of Sindh issued License vide License no 97 dated 20th March 2003, b. Home Department, Government of Punjab vide License no: 2-39-H-spl-II/2002.113 dated 31st July 2004. c. Home & Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Baluchistan, vide License no: SO.KP/DP(H)13(10)/08/2010/20 dated 14th January 2011. d. Home & Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Commencement of Operation: The Offices of the Company being at Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Quetta, Lahore and Kohat.
