From 1997 Industrial Development Services Company LLC (IDSC) has operated a single client consultancy to Beijing-based China Machinery Engineering Corp (CMEC) and affiliated companies. IDSC has identified critical financial and project sponsor participants and developed power generation and energy infrastructure unsolicited, shortlist and open EPC bidding and financing structures for CMEC and affiliates China Machinery-Building International Corp (CMIC) and China National Electric Engineering Co (CNEEC) in North America, Central America, South America, Sub-Saharan Africa and East Asia. IDSC-recruited parties and counterparties for CMEC and affiliate EPC open bidding and unsolicited project development include AES Corp, American International Group, Bechtel, Black & Veatch, CH2M Hill, EGCO Group, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Pöyry, SNC Lavalin and Statkraft. A. Kit Jackson is the founder and managing member of IDSC. From 1985 to 2008 A. Kit Jackson was co-founder, management committee member and largest individual interest owner of Cogen Technology Inc. (CTI). CTI design-built, co-owned and operated three natural gas-fired power blocks servicing a series of two consecutive 10-year power sales agreements with Public Service Company of Colorado.
