De Industriële Kring Land van Cuijk en Noord-Limburg werd in 1954 opgericht door enkele ondernemers in het Land van Cuijk, als platform voor onderlinge samenwerking rond vraagstukken als de noodzaak tot industrialisatie, aansluiting van scholing op de werkgelegenheid en verbetering van de infrastructuur.
Inmiddels werkt de Industriële Kring, met autonome afdelingen in Boxmeer, Cuijk, Mill en Noord-Limburg op vele fronten samen, en lang niet alleen meer onderling. Zo zorgt de Kring er samen met het middelbaar en voortgezet onderwijs nog steeds voor dat opleidingen beter aansluiten op de marktvraag. Maar daarnaast worden er bijvoorbeeld ook initiatieven ontplooid om bedrijventerreinen te revitaliseren, de regio beter te ontsluiten, toerisme en recreatie te bevorderen, en collectieve inkoop te bewerkstelligen. Hiertoe onderhoudt de Industriële Kring contacten met onder meer woningcorporaties, de gezondheidszorg, de Kamers van Koophandel, de overheid en ondernemersverenigingen.
