The Industry Coverage Society is a student-led initiative at LSE for ambitious students targeting careers in investment banking, private equity, and related fields. We combine sector-focused research, technical training, and real-world exposure to build the analytical, commercial, and execution skills top firms demand.
Analysts are split into eight sector teams - Healthcare, Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Financial Institutions, TMT, Consumer & Retail, Energy & Infrastructure, and Industrials - mirroring the structure of leading banks. Each team publishes professional-grade reports, developing deep sector knowledge through original research and analysis.
Our technical training workshops cover modelling, valuation, accounting, and transaction analysis. Members apply these skills through case studies, simulations, and report writing - training them to think like and deliver like analysts. Speaker events with finance professionals offer candid insights and direct industry access to our members.
