About Indy Learning Centers

We provide online and onsite tutoring and support services and both live and recorded (on-demand) resources to help students reach their fullest potential academically. Our tutors work one-on-one individually with students or in small group settings to ensure that all students are given an equal chance to learn. When students learn more, their confidence increases and so does their attitude toward learning. We offer both free and paid services with different levels of support and resources for all budgets and needs. Our mission The Learning Center is an academic multi-service center available to the student population during the day and after school. It is staffed by teachers, para-professionals, tutors, and Our mission is to provide tutors who connect with students to help them advance in school by encouraging them and preparing them for college. We strive to provide resources that make learning easier for all students. Our vision is that all students receive an equal chance to learn. We see a future where students are well prepared with the education and desire to succeed in college and where students, parents, and teachers have resources that will enhance the educational experience. We use the latest technology to connect with students with online study tables and whiteboards to visually present problems and the processes to solve them. Additionally, we will provide resources about tutoring, homework help, and colleges and universities to all students. Our learning center was created to unite university’s with the local community to further the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). To do this, we worked with students who excelled in higher education and who longed to share their knowledge with other students of various ages, abilities, and ethnic backgrounds. The pilot program, STEM Club, started in 2007 with a handful of tutors placed in four elementary schools in Central Indiana.
