INFANT

INFANT (INfant Feeding, Active play and NuTrition) is designed to help mums, dads, and carers with feeding and active play to give their baby the best start to life. Based on more than 15 years of research led by the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN), Deakin University, INFANT continues to scale-up across Victoria with over 30 Local Government Area’s (LGAs) currently implementing or implementing soon. INFANT is delivered by trained facilitators such as health and early years professionals and consists of four face-to face group sessions for mums, dads, and carers in first year of life with content reinforced via a mobile app (called My Baby Now).
