Infinity is a Teacher Training and Development Center based in Tehran. It was founded by a team of experts and experienced teacher trainers. Its vision has been to provide the English language teaching community of Iran with world class training programs and make this knowledge available all over the country. Our inspiration came from lack of appropriate, practical and academic trainings and professional development path in Iran. Through a research of the market it was found out that most of the trainings the novices go through are based on theories of teaching and these trainings don’t equip the trainees with essential tools to enter the real classroom situation. On the other hand after ages of struggling the teachers get fossilized and are not mostly familiar with the concept of continuing professional development and are not sure how to grow and develop further in the field. nfinity is the only independent training center cooperating with well- known schools and language institutes in Iran. What distinguish Infinity programs from the other courses are firstly the high qualifications that the directing team holds such as the CELTA qualification from the University of Cambridge, international certificate of training from British Council and a minimum of an MA degree. Secondly, the certificates issued at the end of our courses are approved by a growing number of remarkable language schools all over Iran. Nonetheless, our focus is on equipping our trainees with the competence needed to enter the national and international job market. Most importantly, Infinity Training and Development Center has been playing a supportive role for the schools and language institutes by training their staff, addressing their educational needs and introducing and linking proficient teachers to them.
