Founded in 1997 by private investors, AS Infortar now operates in seven countries. As Estonia’s largest investment company, its main areas of activity are maritime transport, energy, and real estate. Infortar holds a 68.5% stake in AS Tallink Grupp, the leading maritime shipping and transport group in the Baltic Sea region, and owns 100% of AS Elenger Grupp, the largest privately owned energy company in the Baltic and Finnish region.
Infortar’s diverse and modern real estate portfolio comprises approximately 141,000 square metres, including four contemporary hotels and spas in Tallinn and Riga, the commercial buildings known as the Tähesaju Twins in Lasnamäe, logistics centres in Laagri and Maardu, the group’s headquarters at Liivalaia 9, Tallink’s main buildings Jäämaja and Tulemaja, a commercial property in Tallinn’s Old Town (Vana Posti 7), and a sports centre in Lasnamäe.
Among the 110 companies within the Infortar Group, other well-known names include the Estonian Mineral Resources Group, which deals with construction minerals, the printing companies Tallinna Raamatutrükikoda, Vaba Maa and Printon, the agricultural enterprise Halinga, the Tallink Tennis Centre, construction firms EG Ehitus, INF Ehitus and INF Infra, as well as many others.
Infortar’s share, trading under the symbol INF1T, is listed on the Tallinn Stock Exchange.
