The range of displays designed, manufactured and supported covers many types of technologies and their adaptions. Displays are manufactured in the UK and have a no-quibble warranty.
Despite ongoing modernisation, the UK rail network depends on many legacy systems, so anything developed is always “backwards compatible” - all Infotec display hardware will work over most existing and new cabling and network systems without modification.
Train running data provided by traditional sources is often not compatible with the complex display presentations featuring images now available. The system design, built into every display, caters for this, with presentations created using a simple configuration and definition process.
Infotec has developed a cloud-based display management system, Javelin-DMS, that allows data from any relevant source to be harvested, filtered and sorted so that it can be delivered to any Infotec display via any communications medium. This multi-sourced data is then integrated seamlessly, by the display presentation software, onto the screen.
