The Defence Division and the Infrastructure Division of Infrastructure Development Entrepreneurs’ Association (IDEA) have been formed with the dedicated aim of providing a forum for association and participation for all. It aims to bring together micro, small and mini (MSME) and Medium industrial entrepreneurs so as to facilitate their joint contribution towards the ‘Make in India’ initiative in the defense as well as Infrastructure sector. IDEA intends to create an effective platform connecting all industries - including almost 15,000 Indian MSME, foreign OEMs and all related organizations of the government. The Association has created an effective secretariat and formed an expert advisory panel, a research and development team and a Network Cell to connect government agencies, foreign OEMs and Indian industry. The empaneled experienced advisers have dealt with the system and procedures of defense procurement/production and have an optimum aptitude on the solutions to the existing challenges for MSMEs.
