Ingeokring

Ingeokring is the Dutch association of engineering geologists and geo engineers. It is the Dutch National group of the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM) and the International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (IAEG). It is a forum for engineers and geologists in the Netherlands. During fieldworks and symposia organised by the Ingeokring its members and members of other societies in the Netherlands such as the KNGMG (Royal Geological and Mining Society of The Netherlands) meet, talks, discuss and learn. The Ingeokring is a provider of Continuous Professional Development courses recognised by the European Federation of Geologists. With 150 members working in different organisations, ranging from universities and research institutes to contractors, from consultancy firms to various governmental organizations, Ingeokring plays a vital role in the communication between engineering geologists and geo-engineers in The Netherlands.
