Inkanyo is a child rights advocacy organization committed to supporting children who have been overshadowed or rendered invisible by society. We work to uphold and protect the rights of these children by providing direct assistance to both them and their guardians. Inkanyo serves as a vital link to appropriate resources and services whether through government departments, civil society organizations, or other relevant entities. The organization also acts as a third party representative to ensure that the voices of these children are heard, their rights upheld and their inclusion in society promoted.
Our work is guided by two primary focus areas: children who are neurodiverse and those who lack legal identities. To advance these causes, Inkanyo actively engages in research and contributes to studies that seek to strengthen child rights and promote inclusive frameworks.
