We are a group of professional animators, illustrators, and cartoonists who provide free arts activities to children experiencing severe illness, foster care, and similar challenges. We come from TV Shows like SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and Phineas and Ferb; Ice Age and Rugrats features; DC and Marvel comics; and numerous illustrated books and magazines.
Our goal is to let the kids draw with the artists behind their favorite shows, films and books while learning the power of art as self-expression and as just a way to take a break from trying times and have some fun. We regularly visit hospitals and health care centers such as Mount Sinai, St. Mary’s, Bellevue, Gilda’s Club and Ronald McDonald House.
