The National Institute of Lithium and Salars (INLiSa) is a nonprofit research and technology institute established under Chile’s National Lithium Strategy. Founded by the Ministry of Science, Ministry of Mining, Ministry of the Environment, and CORFO, INLiSa is headquartered in Antofagasta, with a regional office in Atacama.
Our mission is to drive sustainable innovation in lithium extraction, processing, and salar ecosystem management, ensuring a balance between economic development, environmental conservation, and social responsibility.
