Inner Wisdom & Energy Enlightenment || Art of Meditation

Inner Wisdom & Energy Enlightenment is a small mother-daughter team that helps people from all walks of life find strength through spiritual practices. It started as part of the work of my mother, Jadwiga “Hedy” Pylak, who moved to the US from Poland in the 1970s. She began doing energy readings for friends in the 1980s, and her readings were so accurate that her friends started referring their friends, who in turn did the same, and so on. My mother wanted to find other ways to help people overcome their challenges, and from her research and intuitive nudges, meditation and energy healing fit the bill. So, she introduced guided meditation and energy enlightenment work as a way to help people strengthen their mindsets and be strengthened by intention in order to improve their quality of life, manage pain, and even achieve remission from medical conditions. In the late 1990s, I worked with my mother, doing readings and assisting in her meditation and energy sessions. However, in 2005, I decided to step away to pursue my master’s degree abroad—which turned into a career in television distribution and almost 15 years of living outside of the US. After years of my mother asking me to return to work with her, I finally agreed to do so in 2018. Since then, I have been incorporating my research in anthropology and psychology to teach guided and silent meditation methods. I am passionate about learning new techniques, and I love peer-reviewed scientific research where science and spirituality meet—particularly the ways in which meditation and medicine complement each other. I incorporate research and new techniques whenever possible to help people in their life journeys. My mother and I are unique individuals that came to this work in different ways, but our goals and passions are the same: to help people overcome their challenges using a wide range of spiritual practices and methods.
