INNOFEIT EDIH

INNOFEIT EDIH aims to upskill and increase the competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Public Sector Organizations (PSOs) in North Macedonia through strategic adoption of digital technologies via prototyping, testing, training and access to needed resources. With a tailored focus on SMEs in manufacturing, agriculture, smart buildings and materials, and energy sectors, outlined in the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Republic of North Macedonia, INNOFEIT EDIH aims to deliver customized services to meet specific industry needs. Furthermore, it seeks to enhance public administration agility and data-driven decision-making processes. As a result, INNOFEIT EDIH efforts will strongly accelerate the digitalization of the Macedonian society and increase its resilience in the following years. Operating across the entirety of North Macedonia, INNOFEIT EDIH offers geographical coverage and technical integration of partners’ expertise in a single entity with added value for the clients. The INNOFEIT EDIH aspires to integrate into a pan-European network of advanced testing facilities, collaborating with various regions and EDIHs to offer specialized services for SMEs at a European scale. INNOFEIT EDIH builds upon the established groundwork of INNOFEIT DIH in terms of crucial infrastructure and expertise. The INNOFEIT DIH is recognized as the only fully operational digital innovation hub in North Macedonia by JRC in 2021. Alongside its core Test before Invest service, INNOFEIT DIH offers an array of digital skills training programs and maintains a robust partner network, facilitating access to tailored financial opportunities for target groups. The primary aim of the proposed project is to augment these services through collaboration with new partners, leveraging their resources and expertise to achieve recognition and integration within the European network of EDIHs.
