iNPQS Pte Ltd

iNPQS Pte Ltd was jointly set up by Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA), Institute of Engineers (IES) and Association of Consulting Engineers (ACES) to improve productivity in the building industry through Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology. The business plan outlines the development of a digital platform, an intelligent National Productivity Specification platform, to integrate professionals and industry players in building construction. iNPQS, together with the strong support from built industry users and agencies, has developed a National Specification known as the iCoreSpecs. iNPQS offers a digital platform to assist designers create specifications that are clear and unambiguous. The solution harnesses Information Communication Technology (ICT)/Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology in a highly productive manner. Other users in the whole construction value chain e.g. developers, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, etc. will now be able to collaborate as a project team. These capabilities will create greater effectiveness and efficiency in the procurement and construction process. As this platform can be used right across the project cycle, there will be significant productivity gains
