Insaan is an impact investing entity that allocates philanthropic capital to tackle poverty. Supported by donations from forward-looking philanthropists and foundations, and pro bono engagement from high-level experts, Insaan aims, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to improve the living conditions of the 3 billion people living under $3.50 a day by creating jobs, and supporting the development of products and services relevant to under-served markets in sub-Saharan Africa and India. Our mission is to engage in high-impact or catalytic philanthropy that changes the lives of many, for better, for good. We do this by investing in emerging social enterprises that create opportunities for the poor through education, health and supply chain.
