Inside Northwestern

Inside Northwestern was founded in 2012 as an independent site that would provide objective, reliable coverage of Northwestern athletics. It is the only independent NU site that will also bring readers coverage from the press box. Our focus is on football, basketball, lacrosse and recruiting. This site is unique in that it provides the reliability and credibility of a newspaper — we’ll be at all of the games, practices and events that the papers cover — but also provides the entertainment value of a blog. Expect to see typical game stories and features, but there will also be a wide variety of content, including in-depth analysis from games, video, columns, game previews, Q&A’s, predictions, player/unit breakdowns and much more. We hope that, by using this model, we can bring our readers the most comprehensive and interesting NU content on the web.
