NINA WEBB | Professional Bio
Acknowledged as one of the Top Women Music Executives in 2019 by Billboard Magazine, Nina is a highly respected executive and spent her 25+ year career in the trenches with artists and their fans.
She started her career at Sony Music Distribution outside of Boston, MA and quickly was promoted to run Sony Music’s Northeast Marketing for Alternative Rock & Developing Artists. Sony then moved Nina to New York City to run the iconic Sony Music College Department for 5+ years, overseeing 55+ students nation-wide; executing local and national marketing for hundreds of Alternative Rock and Developing Artists for Epic Records & Columbia Records.
Nina accepted her dream job as a Product Manager for Columbia Records and developed and executed intensive creative campaigns that launched the careers of fiercely creative artists such as MGMT, The Ting Tings, Coheed and Cambria to release campaigns with iconic artists such as Patti Smith, Primal Scream and Oasis. This role came with extensive travel and education of the US and UK market and the indie retail, influential radio and press outlets.
For the last eight years, Nina was SVP & Head of Marketing for Atlantic Records with a team of 10+ Marketers and oversaw over 100 artists on the labels’ Pop Rock roster while working closely on collaborative plans with all internal departments and external management teams. Working closely with artists, she oversaw all creative and developed intricate campaigns for Kelly Clarkson, Janelle Monae, Melanie Martinez and Death Cab for Cutie to the many developing artists such as GAYLE, JAX and Matt Maeson.
Currently, Nina is a Marketing Consultant and Professor at Berklee College of Music.
