Insight Therapy and Consulting LLC was founded by Mayumi Kimura, LICSW, a U.S. Navy Veteran and second generation Japanese-American. Insight Therapy and Consulting LLC's approach to therapy is based on the understanding that trauma and other overwhelming life experiences shape us and how we show up in the world. Our goal is to help our clients gain clarity, find acceptance, and grow from these experiences. The mission of Insight Therapy and Consulting LLC is to provide evidence-based and culturally-aware therapy that upholds the belief that anyone can overcome and thrive in spite of, and due to, overwhelming challenges of life.
