Originally founded of research carried out at Oxford University, which was funded by the Wellcome Trust and the Medical Research Council.
It is in the process of being relocated and entering into the next phase of the company in Cambridge, England, the United Kingdom.
The company holds a link to a financial arrangement, which has been held since long before the foundation of the company, which is yet to be released on a future date in the coming years.
The company was selected to take part in the UKTI CNS Mission, to showcase the strength of neuroscience research and development, under the prime minister of David Cameron and the then Chief Exec of Dr. J. M. Treherne of Life Sciences Organisation of UK Trade Investment, which is no longer referred to in the same nomenclature.
The company is born out of the bioinformatics works officially held at Oxford University and unofficially trained for further enhancement in Cambridge and Heidelberg, Germany. We are grateful for the computational trainings and financial support, generously provided by the European Union.
There are individuals, without whom this very small company would not have withstood the past years through Brexit and the pandemic, to name a few.
One particular, who is in heaven now, Prof. J. E. Treherne, has been monumentally important to pull through the work done with oligonucleotide therapies for Alzheimer's disease, through a written-medium based collaboration. His work on invertebrate neuroscience research was most critical to overcome the last huddles of pulling out those gene segments.
There is an unofficial member of the company, without whom this company would have long been abandoned, as the substantial funding has stayed tied up much longer than it had been anticipated. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been started, admitting that now. :) So grateful to God for everything. xxx
