¿Qué es Inspiring Girls? La Fundación Inspiring Girls tiene como objetivo aumentar la autoestima y la ambición profesional de las niñas en edad escolar, así como sus expectativas laborales, ayudándolas a visibilizar la amplia variedad de profesiones y trabajos que existen, sin que el hecho de ser mujer suponga ninguna limitación, siempre que se basen en el trabajo y el esfuerzo. Y esto lo hacemos mediante la “vuelta al cole” de mujeres profesionales de todos los sectores. ¿Cuál es la dinámica de la Fundación? Las mujeres voluntarias (profesionales liberales, ejecutivas, altos cargos, empleadas...) ofrecen su tiempo (solo una hora al año) para ir a los colegios y explicarles a las niñas su actividad profesional, qué les apasiona de su trabajo, qué problemas encontraron en el desarrollo de su carrera y cómo los solucionaron… y contestar sus preguntas. Se trata, en definitiva, de permitir a las niñas que conozcan de cerca mujeres role model a las que normalmente no tienen acceso, que sean sus referentes y les sirvan de inspiración.
