The Atena Institute for Clinical Research has a multidisciplinary team with experience since 1998 contributing to evidence-based medicine, in particular in the fight against COVID-19 and in the research of new vaccines. In addition to collaborating with the advancement of medical science, our mission is to promote science that values people.

The Atena Institute team began its involvement with evidence-based medicine in 1998, initially focusing on clinical trials in cardiology, interventional cardiology, and endocrinology.
To reach the level of quality of excellence, we benefited from the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which made possible extensive improvements in the physical structure of the center and intense training for our entire team.
