O IBRAMAR – Instituto Brasileiro dos Recursos Ambientais e Assessoria Rural é uma entidade sem fins lucrativos criada em 1º de outubro de 2008, com personalidade jurídica de direito privado e de interesse público.
Missão:
Pesquisar, proteger, preservar e recuperar o patrimônio ambiental, buscando o desenvolvimento sustentável com participação e inclusão social.
Objetivos:
- Pesquisa em desenvolvimento tecnológico e inovação na área ambiental, cultural e social.
- Produção e divulgação de informações e conhecimentos técnicos e científicos.
- Preservação e conservação do meio ambiente e promoção do desenvolvimento sustentável.
- Promoção do desenvolvimento socioeconômico e combate à pobreza.
- Experimentação, não lucrativa, de novos modelos sócio-produtivos e de sistemas alternativos de produção.
