Created by the National Association of Private Universities – ANUP, Rede Mondó was born from the union of private organizations, which, through philanthropic capital, develop solutions to strengthen vulnerable territories in the Amazon through schools.
ANUP, in its social chapter (ANUP Social), shares the creation of Rede Mondó with the DASA health ecosystem. The organizations work together to manage a network that involves several actors in favor of territorial transformation, always with a collaborative and participatory nature. Our methodology starts from listening and learning about the historical and social challenges faced in the place where we work. Therefore, our Network aims to contribute to local development through human and territorial protagonism.
Our pilot project is being developed in the city of Breves, Marajó-Pará. We work to transform Marajoara schools into Social Solutions Platforms. We operate through integrated actions in the areas of education, health, income generation and infrastructure (housing, energy and water), from Marajó, aiming to reach all the Peoples of the Forest.
Marajoaras and Mondó: united by the belief that education is a passport to the future.
