The time has come for Olympic medalist and the greatest medalist in the history of the Pan-American Games, Thiago Pereira, to pursue new medals: to strive for promoting access to sports and swimming, thus building a healthier society; to promote the values of Sport to shape the citizens of the future; and to save lives from drowning through access to swimming. We believe in a Brazil and an Earth where Sports are an essential pillar in the formation of citizens and citizenship, and where swimming is an effective tool for living in a healthy society that is increasingly prepared against the risk of accidental drownings, especially among children and youth. Thiago is a survivor of a drowning incident at the age of 2, and his achievements demonstrate the power that Sports have to transform lives.
