We have over 20 years experience in fish sampling, handling and tag implantation including all surgical and external attachment methods to support your long range telemetry and localized mark recapture projects. Our tagging expertise span acoustic, radio, FLOY, PIT (Passive Integrated Transponders), PSAT (Pop-up Satellite Archival Tags), and VIE (Visible Implant Elastomer). We conduct both surgical and external tag implantation on species ranging from sensitive Alewife (Alosa pseudoharengus) to laterally compressed Atlantic Halibut (Hippoglossus hippoglussus) in all environments and develop innovative methods for low impact high retention tag attachment.
