The Advanced Instrumentation Laboratory (AI lab) was established in 1393 (2014) at the School of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran, and continues its activities. This laboratory is actively engaged in the fields of precision instruments, automation, and control systems. The main objectives and areas of activity of the laboratory include:
1. Design and development of industrial systems and new precision instruments
2. Telemetry systems and storage and transmission of data systems
3. Design of intelligent measurement systems for physical quantities
4. Electric vehicles, electric vehicle charging stations, and related equipment
5. Development of fault detection methods and status monitoring
6. Design of monitoring and control systems for electronic power devices and power networks
