Our family started in construction in 1972, building both residential and commercial properties. We have worked throughout the Midwest, as far west as California and Hawaii and even in Nigeria. We hold general contracting licenses in several states and have developed everything from custom homes to large multi-family buildings with hundreds of units. In the 90’s some of us began our work in various sectors of insurance such as providing insurance document solutions to just about every major carrier and brokering every type of personal, commercial, life and health policy imaginable. When Hurricane Katrina, the costliest natural disaster in the history of the United States, struck the South in August of 2005, our attention and expertise turned to the area of Catastrophic Claims. In addition to business insurance clients, our own family was affected by significant property loss from Katrina. In helping them and despite our collective years of dealing with the insurance and construction industries, we were shocked by the complexities of the claims process, the number of indirect parties involved and the less than reputable practices oftentimes employed on both the insurance and the construction side of the claim. With our experience in dealing with dozens of subcontractors simultaneously, multi-million dollar insurance losses and operating across the country, we realized we had the unique ability to help people recover from severe weather losses with integrity. Our mission is to help homeowners recover from catastrophic property damage. We promise to operate with integrity, speed and efficiency.
