As of August 2019, Insura has been acquired by Apollo Insurance Solutions. Insura Solutions is a Vancouver-based insurance technology start-up focused on providing solutions to real industry problems affecting commercial insurance underwriters, brokers and agents in both the standard and surplus lines markets. Due to the industry’s reliance on in-house software, repetitive and tedious data-input driven processes result in errors, delayed quote-times, and subjective policy premiums. Insura’s end-to-end platform removes the subjectivity from this process through standardization, data-driven decision making and a simplified user experience.
