Suyana Climate Insurance

Suyana uses machine learning and digital technologies to make climate insurance more accurate, accessible, and affordable. Suyana is currently develops flooding and hurricane protection solutions for urban environments, and flooding and drought solutions for agriculture in Latin America. Suyana is well positioned to take advantage of the accelerated growth in the space of climate insurance; trillions of dollars in assets and economic activity remain uninsured against climate perils, both in the developed and developing world. Suyana has been recognized by prestigious institutions. We are part of cohort 11 of the Lloyd’s Lab, and received support from the Harvard Innovation Labs, Village Capital, Chile's CORFO and Google for Startups. Suyana was a finalist in the RISE Challenge in Virginia, USA.
