El Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA) es un organismo público desconcentrado bajo la órbita de la Secretaría de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca de la Nación.
Creado en 1956, sus objetivos y esfuerzos se orientan a la innovación como motor del desarrollo nacional. Como integrante del Sistema Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación nacional, desarrolla capacidades para el sector agroindustrial y participa en redes que fomentan la cooperación interinstitucional; genera conocimientos y tecnologías que pone al servicio de distintos sectores de la sociedad, a través de sus sistemas de extensión, información y comunicación.
Los aportes del INTA le permiten al país alcanzar una mayor potencialidad y generar nuevas oportunidades para acceder a los mercados regionales e internacionales con productos y servicios de alto valor agregado.
