The primary features of the application are as follows: Intealth allows the user to calculate their heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) metrics using the smartphone camera and flash. The user is required to record a 60-second video by placing their finger on the flash and the smartphone camera. The application uses a technology known as contact photoplethysmography (PPG) to calculate the heart rate and HRV metrics. The HRV metrics computed by the application are fed into state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to compute user’s current stress level with their own baseline (the user’s average/typical stress level). This includes an assessment of the user’s fitness-adjusted age and lifestyle quality. The application also allows the user to log/record important health vitals that the user would like to track. These health vitals include blood pressure, blood glucose level, weight and water intake. The application uses all the data measured or logged by the user, i.e., heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), stress levels, blood pressure, blood glucose level etc. to provide insights. These personalized insights can inform user’s lifestyle choices to improve general well-being or achieve a particular health goal. The application also has curated several Chakra meditation exercises that can help a user effectively achieve a certain health/well-being goal.
