Originally established as Alcoa CSI Egypt in 2004 as part of the plastic closures global market leader (Alcoa CSI), In 2008 the company transitioned to Closure Systems International Egypt (CSI) as part of the transfer of Closure Systems International ownership from Alcoa to Rank Group. By the end of 2023, it became part of Cap Sustainable Solutions (CSS). Today, ICS Egypt operates as the result of a strategic partnership between the CSS Group—the former sole owner of CSI Egypt—and WiseCap® Group.
