The Integrated Fire Testing Facility (IFTF) comprises a joint venture of the fire testing facility (FireUP) of the University of Patras and the fire engineering unit (FEU) of the National Technical University of Athens.
It is the only laboratory venture in Greece fully equipped to carry out research and provide testing services related not only to Fire Resistance (FR) but also to the Reaction to Fire (RtF) of construction products and systems.
The establishment of IFTF is expected to produce research and educational benefits of a multiplicative nature with a high added value and a nationwide impact.
