Quality Assurance Consultant - Contract Inspection Service Provider Based in the South of France: Occitanie (Languedoc-Roussillon) Specializing in: - Petrochemical and Energy Industries. - Structural steel welded fabrications - QA/QC management - Vendor surveillance and vendor inspections - Expediting and Audits - Vendor, client and third-party representation - NDT, PMI and hardness testing witnessing and verification - Blasting and coatings inspections (RMS surface finishes and DFT measurements) - Ensuring conformity to applicable code & standards: EN, ISO, AWS, ASME, API, ASNT & NACE. Extensive Experience in: - Quality assurance and inspections of piping, pipelines, tanks, pressure vessels, boilers and structural steel fabrication. Specifically, weld quality by visual inspections (including bores cope VT inspections), NDT testing (UT, RT, MT & PT) as well as PMI (positive material identification) and hardness testing. - Testing of field installations of piping systems and tanks by hydrostatic, pneumatic, vacuum box and static testing. - Welder qualification testing and certification to ASME IX and AWS D1.1 requirements for pipe and structural steel welders. Maintaining of welder continuity records, weld log books, weld mapping and final documentation of welding records of inspection and testing for each specific project. - Surveying fabrication and testing of offshore drilling equipment including ram and annular type BOPs, LMRP subcomponents such as collet connectors and choke & kill valves, and drilling riser at the vendor/supplier’s facilities (FATs) as a client/end-user representative.
