Todd was raised in the Midwest and south and became the son of a pastor at age 15. He was surrounded by Christian ministry to some degree his entire life. He studied music and theater at a Christian university in Tennessee. Upon graduation, he was a middle and high school teacher in three different schools in California and Michigan. During that time, he started leading teams of his high school students on summer mission trips to countries all over the world. Over the years, Todd led 29 different short-term teams of people, ranging in age from 14 to 65, and that came from 6 different countries. He and his wife, Liana, were missionaries in Budapest, Hungary for nearly 10 years, and then returned to the States in 2007. The Corbins have two grown sons, Austin and Dylan. From 2008 to the present, Todd has continued to pour himself into ministry, but with a focus on mentoring and counseling the teenage and young adult kids of missionaries. He has a huge passion for mentoring young men. In 2020, Todd and Liana began investing in real estate on the side, and in 2021, Todd started getting trained in real estate investing from renowned investors who have been very successful. He still has a strong relationship with and continues to be mentored by some of these people. Todd is part of a strong team of investors that have experience spanning two decades. As of 2022, Todd started transitioning from doing full-time ministry, to move toward full-time real estate investing. Todd is passionate about helping people, and feels that teaching people about the incredible options available to them through private lending, as well as providing nice, affordable housing to people who are usually rejected by the banks or mortgage companies, is a huge way he can continue pouring into others by helping them with their financial needs and their ability to continue paying it forward to others.
