Intelligent Community Forum

The Intelligent Community Forum is a global network of cities and regions with a think tank at its center. Its mission is to help communities in the digital age find a new path to economic development and community growth – one that creates inclusive prosperity, tackles social challenges, and enriches quality of life. For two decades, ICF has studied how communities respond to the disruptions of digital technology and use it to growth their economies, societies and cultures. From that evidence-based research, it developed the ICF Method, which we teach through educational programs, analytics, reports, books and conferences. The data comes from a network of more than 180 cities and regions – large and small, urban and rural – on five continents. Those communities have completed detailed questionnaires, which feed our research and make it possible for ICF to provide analytics reports on their readiness and progress.
