For many translation students, access to reputable translation companies for training using contemporary computer tools is limited yet fundamental for acquiring experience in market conditions and a prerequisite for completing their degree. A spin-out of Rhyme&Reason, interNGO is a gamified remote internship platform for translation students offering free language services to NGOs. The traditionally time-consuming service, sought-after by both Universities and students, is disrupted by interNGO aiming for streamlined processes through gamification, translator-task matching algorithm and integration with online CAT tools. NGOs receive free translation services and interns build a portfolio, creating both value and social impact.
