Interact District 3220

Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people of ages 12 to 19. Interact Clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary Clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting. The Interact movement was found in 1962 and has been Rotary’s largest and most prestigious youth movement for 50 years. The activities of the Interact clubs provide opportunities for the youth to be constructively occupied and mature into responsible adults with the ability to accept the varied challenges they will encounter in the endeavors in the future. Interact arrived on the shores of Sri Lanka in 1964 and the Interact District 3220 currently comprises an outstanding membership of nearly 3000 young individuals belonging to over 100 clubs spanning across the 6 Zones. The Interact District 3220 has nurtured many young leaders in Sri Lanka and continues to do so under the patronage and guidance of the Rotary District 3220.
