Interactive Companion

We have created Beffi, our first Companion Robot for the aging population. Intelligent assistive technologies (IAT) that support people suffering from loneliness or MCI and their carers or relatives can significantly reduce costs, improve independence, and eventually raise quality of life. Assistive robots help human users while providing high flexibility and portability at the same time. Combined with embedded intelligent software solutions, they can even assist clinicians’ work to alleviate depression and anxiety. The natural tendency of humans to relate to animals makes digital pet companions an important form factor of IAT.
