InterLinkSQ

InterLinkSQ is an intermodal freight terminal in South East Queensland, 13 km west of Toowoomba. The site is strategically located to maximise transportation and supply chain cost efficiencies, offering opportunities for transport and logistics services in the region. InterLinkSQ will connect through to the Port of Brisbane (170km), and on rail to western Queensland from 2020. InterLinkSQ is ideally situated as a major hub for freight moving between metropolitan centres including Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Darwin as well as via the Port of Brisbane and Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport. InterLinkSQ offers access to domestic and international markets through modal choice with: - Nearly 3km of frontage to the current West Moreton rail line and the proposed Inland Rail alignment, connecting it to the Port of Brisbane; - Its strategic location at the junction of three major highways, the Gore, Warrego and New England, with connectivity to the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing; and - The Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport just 7km away. Encompassing the Global Logistics Centre and Industrial Park, InterLinkSQ is located on 200 hectares 13km west of Toowoomba, Queensland at the northern end of the Toowoomba Enterprise Hub. The InterLink Global Logistics Centre is an open access intermodal terminal offering transport choices including rail, road, sea and air, incorporating grain and commodities storage, processing and loading facilities, rail maintenance and provisioning and a large container handling and storage area.
