IAP is an educational charity which has offered short courses since 1983. Over the years more than 100 different topics in the fields of conservation, technical art history, archaeology and museum studies have been taught by numerous experts. Many of the courses have taken place in the UK but IAP has run courses in many other countries including: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA.
