The International Standard Centre for Development (ISCD) …” making peoples life better”, is a reputable non-profit nongovernmental organization focused on promoting peaceful coexistence, enhancing access to quality education and sustainable economic development, improving civic participation in governance, concerned on the rights of the children/youth/women, mainstreaming gender and social inclusion as well as addressing trafficking-in persons and other related offences. In response to the devastating increase of: • Out of school children • Daunting poverty with no means of livelihood amongst women majorly in developing nations • Lack of Standard development initiatives to ameliorate the sufferings of people • Risk of Perishing families and children as a result of man-made disasters • Economic downtowns resulting to poor living standard • And natural catastrophes. ISCD was initiated to help spearhead community driven development initiatives, and to enable needy community groups of vulnerable peoples to participate in integrated activities to achieve quality livelihood and be self-sustainable. Today, ISCD delivers its activities through the power and spirit of volunteerism approach to build sustainable communities/ intercultural exchange and thriving villages in Nigeria, Africa, and the globe to embrace peaceful coexistence through our numerous tools of developmental strategies in accessing quality education attainment for ‘out of school children, economic empowerment of women/youth as well as constant improvement on civic participation in governance amongst others. Most interestingly, ISCD provides range of services in entrepreneurial development and empowerment, advocacy in Global health & Well-being on HIV/AIDS, Sexual reproductive Health, etc. equipping of school children with basic learning tools like Books.
