The International Spinal Cord Society promotes the highest standards of spinal cord injury care and practice throughout the world.
We are an international, impartial, non-political and non-profit-making association whose purpose is to study all problems relating to traumatic and non-traumatic lesions of the spinal cord. We foster education and idea exchange, looking at causes, prevention, basic and clinical research, medical and surgical management, clinical practice, rehabilitation and social reintegration.
ISCoS members are clinicians and scientists from over 85 countries. Each year, they join specialists worldwide to update their knowledge at the Annual Scientific Meeting.
SPINAL CORD and SPINAL CORD SERIES & CASES are the official journals of the society - creating a lively forum that attracts real interest from clinicians and basic scientists working in all aspects of this fast-moving field.
