InterOcci is a platform founded on the idea of creating, showcasing and celebrating art all around the world. The team at InterOcci noticed a missed opportunity in technology designed for artists to showcase their works and connect with various audiences using VR/AR. The brief is to create a space for artists to create, connect and showcase and the goal is to do it while making it accessible, flexible and immersive. InterOcci believes that art is vital to our existence, and the ability to experience and immerse yourself in art should be available to everyone. Often, the feasibility of setting up your space as an artist hinders you from reaching people who resonate with your story. ‘InterOcci’ stems from the most accessible tool we’ve seen- the Internet- and the neural circuitry that is the visual brain- the occiptal lobe. IO wants to remove barriers to art- be it creating or perceiving. By providing creators a platform to share, we believe we can inspire a new age of art, art education and accessibility.
